Why Local Businesses Need Blogs

In the current market Bloggers have a tremendous amount of influence.  If they love your product or service Bloggers will literally tell the world about it by posting on their social media platforms.  With one single delicious meal, word about your Mom and Pop restaurant can be shared with millions within a couple of hours with the use of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others.

Many business owners are too busy running a business to also run a blog.  If that is your reality, you can still reap the benefits of having a blog by developing a business relationship with a blogger you trust or a group of bloggers.  Let them know when something special is happening at your restaurant.  Invite them to your next book signing or concert.

Most Bloggers will give you an honest review bout their experience and share it with the world.  Its an opportunity to spread the word about the wonderful things you are doing.

If you have the time to invest in developing and running a a blog for your business here are some tips from an article I recently read.

Houston Texans: Are You Ready for Football?

Houston Texans fans are ready for a fresh new start.  I am excited about what this coming season will bring.  We are definitely set up for success this season.  New coach, new additions to the team, new energy!
I was one of the thousands of loyal fans hitting the refresh button to get tickets to the Houston Texans training camps that are open to the public.  I was one of the lucky ones.  I will be there in full Houston Texans regalia.

Are any other bloggers planning to attend?

Sure We HaveTraffic, it's Worth it to Live and Work in Cypress, Texas

Those of us who live, work or play in the greater Cypress, Texas area deal with traffic on a daily basis.  I've had friends who ask why I continue to deal with the traffic on Hwy 290.  They wonder why I don't move closer into the metro Houston area.

If they lived in Cypress, Texas they would understand and they wouldn't ask.  Yes, I have to deal with traffic on those days that I travel outside of my homestretch.  Yes, traffic is bad, some days even horrendous.  But the pay off is worth it.

Great neighborhoods. Great people. Great small businesses. Great schools. Small town feel.

Connect with with Cypress Bloggers to promote your business or blog.

I'd love to read your comments.
